Meet Our Burley Doctors
Tayne Peterson, DMD
Dr. Tayne Peterson was raised in Heyburn, Idaho. Because he came from a large family, he learned to value relationships and appreciate teamwork. He is known as Dr. Tayne to patients and the team. He has a friendly and charismatic nature and has a healthy love for the outdoors. Hunting, hiking, and camping with his family are among his favorite activities. When it comes to dentistry, Dr. Tayne is deliberate and focused. He graduated from the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He believes in a lifelong pursuit of education to better serve his patients. His experience practicing in New Mexico has given him exceptional clinical skills.
In June of 2022, Dr. Tayne became the new owner of Burley Family Dental. He and his wife, Brooke, brought their beautiful family back to the Mini-Cassia area to build a life near their families. They look forward to serving the people here in Idaho and feel blessed to have the opportunity to raise their young family amongst this wonderful community.
Kevin T. Stock, DDS
Dr. Kevin Stock grew up in Logan, Utah. He graduated from Utah State University before going to University of Oklahoma to complete his Doctor of Dental Science degree in 1987. He then spent 2 years working for the Public Health Service in Wyoming. Dr. Stock came to Burley in 1989.
Education is important to Dr. Stock, as he has a great love of dentistry. He continues to take classes every year to hone his dental skills and keep up with new techniques and products. Some classes he has certified in are conscious sedation and Botox. He has also studied with White Cap Institute of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Stock served as president of the Idaho State Board of Dentistry and the South Central Idaho State Dental Association as well as on the board of directors for the Western Regional Examining Board. He has been an examiner for dentists coming out of school across the country and is currently active in the state dental association.
One of Dr. Stock’s goals is that patients don’t wait. He prides himself on giving timely service and expects the team to be on time. He knows patients have busy lives and wants them to be able to get back to their commitments as soon as possible.
Dr. Stock and his wife, Diane, raised their family here and continue to enjoy the area. Some of their interests include, hunting, fishing, four wheeling, scuba diving and gardening. Dr. Stock’s motto is “Happiness is Self Made – Make the Best of What Life Dishes to You!”
